3D Treatment Planning

The most common radiation treatment method found today is three dimensional digital imaging. 3D imaging systems are especially beneficial when the cancer is in a hard to reach area or is surrounded by critical body structures. Most commercially used digital imaging programs also make understanding and interpreting data faster and easier. Often, these systems don’t require computer technicians on-site at the time of the procedure, allowing more lenient scheduling for the patient.
